Goodbye Korea!

1 Apr

Hi Seoul Swing Dancers,

I have moved out of Seoul, back to my home country, the United States. Therefore, I will no longer be holding classes in Korea. It was absolutely wonderful to dance with all of you and spread the joy of dancing through teaching.

Seoul has arguably the largest swing dance scene in the world. It is a haven for swing dancing. So, you’re in the right place to do some lindy hop if you’re already a jitterbug, and it’s certainly a great place to start if you haven’t learned yet!

If you’re looking for information on swing dance in Seoul, here are some sites to check out:

I was dancing on the Seoul scene for nearly four years, so if you have any specific questions, whether I’ve met you yet or not, feel free to e-mail me.

For now, I’ll be spreading my time out between L.A. and Chicago. If you end up in one of those cities, feel free to get in touch as well!

30 Sep

October is my favorite month; I love this season, and it’s making me so giddy! It’s giving me lots of energy for some swing, swing, swing!

If you’ve never danced lindy hop before, make sure to join us at the studio this weekend, Sunday 4pm-5pm, for the  first class of the October session. In the first class of each month, we will go over the basic lindy footpattern, count, posture, rhythm and a foundation move: “the swingout”.

After that, it’s all new material!

Chuseok ~ No Class
